Gift guide

Christmas Gift Guide: Home,Beauty and Fashion.

Hello everyone.

This is part 2 of the gift guide I’m doing this year. You can find part 1 here.

Home:

Copper homeware is a big trend right now, and these copper measuring spoons make a lovely gift without breaking the bank. Sticking with the metallic theme, this metal edged storage box is simple, elegant and great for storing jewellery, makeup or stationery.

A luxurious hand wash and hand lotion set makes a thoughtful gift for someone who might not splurge on themselves. ESPA, Molton Brown and The White Company all do some great sets.  And finally, candles like Pomander by Diptyque or Winter by The White Company are amazing for making the house smell like christmas 🙂

Fashion:

I’m not really into fashion, and gifting clothes can be a tricky thing. However, there are a few items that most would love to receive. I got the Daniel Wellington Classic Sheffield for my birthday, and I absolutely love it. It’s a simple, classic watch that will remain in style for many years. Another classic staple is a plain, black leather pouch. This can either be used as a clutch on nights out, or to corral smaller products inside a large handbag. This one by Urban Outfitters is a great pick, as is this Aspinal of London one if you are really looking to spoil someone. Also blanket scarves. So you can cocoon yourself in softness and warmth. Who wouldn’t like that in winter?

Beauty:

Every year beauty brands bring out so many christmas sets that we really are spoilt for choice. However, I’m pretty sure that the most coveted beauty product this season is going to be the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit. Absolutely gorgeous and a very handy selection of products that one is almost tempted to ignore the rather appalling value per gram of product.

With the cold, dry weather and copious consumption of chocolate at this time of the year, everyones skin is worse for the wear. The Clarins Face Treatment Oils are great for sorting out any skin woes and a little goes a long way.

Finally, if you are looking to buy a perfume for someone, but aren’t sure which scent to choose, the Sephora Liquid Luxuries Perfume Sampler is your answer. The set comes with 15 perfume samples, and a voucher that can be redeemed for the full size of their favourite one.

Have you sorted out your  presents yet? What would you like to get for christmas?

Until next time,Love, Me 🙂
