A few days ago when I got back into the car after work, it didn’t feel like sitting in a furnace. Looks like autumn is upon us! So here are some things to do this weekend to prepare for the cooler months.
Switch it up: As things are bound to get not only colder but drier too. Switch out your skincare for something more hydrating. I usually start pulling out my hydrating face and hair masks so that my skin/hair aren’t too parched by the time winter rolls around. This is also a great time to pull out your warmer clothes from the back of the wardrobe. If your sweaters/coats require dry cleaning after sitting around for a few months, get it done now.
Check your car: Winter weather means snow capped trees, but also icy roads. Make sure your car is winter ready. You don’t want to be stuck in the car park at 10pm with a dead battery: been there, done that, not fun.
The niggly bits: Somethings always seem to hang around on to do lists: taking something to the recycling centre or fixing a button on a shirt. Set aside a few hours to get all those niggly bits done, it’ll be totally worth it!
Indulge: Take some time out for yourself. Cook your favourite meal, have a long shower, curl up with a cup of tea and a good book. Whatever makes you feel warm and cozy.
What are your plans for this weekend?
Until next time, Love, Me 🙂
