PhotonBlog:Kerala

Hello there!

Welcome to another photonblog post. The state of Kerala is one of my favourite places to holiday. There is something for everyone, lots of spices to stock up on, not to mention the amazing food! It also helps that it is practically next door to my hometown. This time, I’m focussing on pictures taken in Kochin and the surrounding areas on a trip a took for my birthday.

A 6 am start and a 2 hour drive later, we arrived at the Kodanad elephant sanctuary in time to see the elephants being bathed.

After that, we headed to the highlight of the trip, the Athirapally Falls.

The close up view was definitely worth the tedious walk down (and back up)!

To wrap up, here is a shot of the famous chinese fishing nets at sunset.

Until next time, Love, Me 🙂

  1. Wow. Awesome pics.

On a side note, I misread the name as KARELIA which is north Europe in Finland. And I was confused thinking, “There’s no elephants in Finland…”
