5 Minute Pamper

Hello everyone!

So every weekend (or even some weekdays) when I am feeling over whelmed with work or what not, some pampering me time is exactly what I need to perk me up again. But the times when you need an afternoon off are exactly times when you CANNOT afford to have an afternoon off. So what is a girl to do? Here are some top to toe quick fixes to tide you over until you can shut yourself away for an entire weekend with your lotions and potions.

Hair : Use a souped up hair mask like the Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Intensive Mask in place of your normal conditioner for softer locks.

Body: In place of your usual body wash, use an exfoliating scrub like the Soap and Glory Pulp Friction to get rid of skin that feels a bit meh. In order to save precious seconds of moisturising limbs and waiting for it to dry, follow up with a body conditioner like Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner from Lush. (It’s like a hair conditioner, but for body. Slap on, rinse off, done! Genius! )

Face : After cleansing your face properly (with the EH cleansing balm of course!), put on a sheet mask and walk around scaring your room mates (laughter is great for getting rid of that stress). Five minutes later, massage a hydrating mask like the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask for baby soft skin.

Feet: Feet are the most over worked, yet most overlooked parts of our body. Set things straight with your toes by sloughing off the rough bits while you’re in the shower with a foot file, then massage in a generous amount of the Peppermint Intensive Foot Rescue from the Body Shop (this thing is a foot rub in a tub I tell you..) and let it work its magic while you sleep.

There you go, my quick fixes for a mid week slump! The best part is, you can choose to work on one bit a day, or if you have a bit more time go the whole hog and really treat yourself. Have fun!

Until next time, Love, Me 🙂

    • I didn’t really try anything from that line either, but then I read some good reviews and thought why not? A lot of their scents are quite sweet, which I usually don’t like, but these are quite nice 🙂
